Obituary:
Springfield--Calivin E. Hoisington, 83, of Allenstown, N.H., and formerly of Springfield, died March 6,2004, at Presidential Oaks Skilled Care Facility in Concord, N.H.
He was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Springfield, the son of Frank and Lillian (Avery) Hoisington.
He graduated from Springfield High School in 1939.
Mr. Hoisington worked for Fellows Gear Shaper for more than 30 years.
He was a member of United Methodist Church in Springfield, the Grange and Oddfellows.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia St. Laurent; two sisters, Rachel Jensen and Muriel Berg; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Amy (Bassett) Hoisington; his son, Richard Hoisington; and two brothers, David Hoisington and Francis Hoisington.
The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist church in Springfield.
