Retired engineer, loved photography.

Services for Edward C. Hoisington, of Farmington, were held Wednesday at Covenant Baptist Church, West Bloomfield. Mr. Hoisington died of cancer Sunday Dec 13, 1992, in Charter House of Farmington Hills. He was 84.

Mr. Hoisington was born in Shiawassee County. He retired in 1967 after 34 years as an electrical engineer in air conditioning for American Standard Air Conditioning in Detroit.

Mr. Hoisington was past president of the Rosedale Park Civic Association and was active in the Rosedale Park Players Theatrical group. For years, Mr. Hoisington taped all church services at Covenant Baptist Church for shut-ins.

He also loved fishing and photography.

Mr. Hoisington is survived by his wife, Eunice; two daughters, Ruth Econ and Pricilla Jean Murdoch; one son, Richard; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements were handled by the McCabe Funeral Home, Farmington Hills. Interment was at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley.
