Served under Captain Samuel Wadsworth of Milton, Mass., from Feb. 29 through March 24, 1675/6 in the defense of the towns of Milton, Braintree, Weymouth and Hingham.

1755, 4th Regt., 4th Co. CT( Col. Elisha Chancey, Capt. Eldad Lewis).  Was in the expedition against Crown Point. (1756)

 

Joab Hoisington, b. 1736

2nd Reg. 6th Co. (Col. David Wooster, Capt. Israel Woodward), 5th Co. (Capt. John Patterson) 1755. 
Corporal, Waterbury Co. CT Troups. In the expedition against Crown Point. April-December 1756.
Sgt. (Col. Benjamin Hall, Capt. Eldad Lewis) Aug 1757 for defence of Fort William Henry.
