Formerly called Uncas. It was located near Uncas about 1897. When the Santa Fe Railroad to Kaw City was put in, South Uncus was moved two miles north. Then in 1974, the cemetery was moved to just south of the Ponca City IOOF cemetery by the U S Government due to inundation of water from the Kaw Reservoir.
