22 "Vespasian Hoisington was a soldier of the Revolution. From the Pay Roll of Lieut. Beriah Green's Company (Ind) of Rangers raised for the defense of Vermont is taken - "Vespasian Hoisington, Pay commenced Feb. 12, served 1 mo. 9 days. Discharged Mar 20, 1781. The Census of Pensioners, pub. in Washington, D.C. , 1841, gives his age as 78.
According to39 , Hannah had applied for widow's pension previous to the time it was granted.
