Verlina was in Oswego/Jefferson Co for a short time; he is listed as Verline on the special 1808 census as a renter.

Verlina served in Seth Warner's Regiment in the Battle of Bennington and was later a marine on the "Dean", a privateer frigate³⁶. Transcription of pension papers.

Note on Polly/Mary:  Verlina's daughter Polly #11 may be the same as his daughter Mary #8.
